Independent Advocates .:. is a social change organization focusing on violence against women. IA provides court advocacy to victims of domestic violence, as well as community education to young people about healthy relationships and training to professionals about the dynamics of domestic violence. IA seeks to raise the standards of advocacy in the Toledo community and improve the community’s overall response to violence against women.

Mission Statement .:. To provide responsible Domestic Violence training, consulting and services to our community. We will promote survivorhood, healthy relationships and accountability. We will work to deconstruct systems of power and control that affect all forms of relationships.
