Domestic Violence Court Watch Program .:.

Concerned members of the Lucas County community have partnered with Independent Advocates to work within the local court system to promote social change in the effort to end domestic violence. As part of these efforts, we have developed a Domestic Violence Court Watch Program. This program places volunteers in courtrooms to monitor domestic violence proceedings in order to support victims and the justice system’s overall response to domestic violence.

The DV Court Watch Program’s goals are to help keep victims safe, hold offenders accountable for their actions, increase public awareness of domestic violence and strengthen the justice system.

We need you!

If you are interested in volunteering to participate in this essential courtroom monitoring program, call (567) 202-1741.
